The right environment for your athlete.

You’re not just choosing speed training — you’re choosing who develops your kid and how. Here’s exactly how we work, what you’ll see, and what your athlete will experience.

Coach Cory Ray

Coached by someone who’s run it.

Coach Cory Ray spent two decades on both sides of the clock — first as a six-time Oklahoma state champion, two-time All-American, and record-setting collegiate sprinter, then as a multi-sport performance coach. Today his athletes include five active Oklahoma state record holders, and he’s developed more than forty state champions across his coaching career.

Every athlete gets a plan built around where they are — not where everyone else is.

The process, in plain terms

Test. Diagnose. Build.

First, the evaluation.

Timed tests and a movement screen — 45–90 minutes of real testing and coaching.

$75waived when you sign up for any training package.

Then, the report.

A Digital Speed Report Card you can read in two minutes: scores, tiers, the one highest-leverage area, and the plan.

Then, the work — and the proof.

Training follows the plan. And when the block ends, we retest: same tests, comparable conditions, progress as a number.

The full process
Long-term development

Built for where your athlete is.

Kids aren’t small adults, and an 8-year-old and a 16-year-old shouldn’t train the same way. Training here follows a long-term development model: movement skills and fun-first foundations early, mechanics and skill-building through the middle years, and higher-intensity speed and power work when the athlete’s foundation supports it.

Grounded in the Sport for Life Long-Term Development framework.

Ages are a guide, not a cutoff. Kids develop at different speeds, so stage fit is confirmed through the evaluation — by a coach, not a birthday.

The Digital Speed Report Card

You’ll know exactly where your athlete stands.

Every quality is scored 0–100 and placed in a tier — Developing, Proficient, Advanced, or Elite — within your athlete’s stage. Developing means room to grow; every tier is a starting point, never a label on your kid. The report names one highest-leverage area — the thing that moves everything else — and lays out the plan, block by block. And I’ll walk through every number with you.

The partnership

You’ll always know what’s going on.

Communication matters as much as the training. I monitor each athlete’s overall workload, sport activity, recovery, and training intensity — and I keep you in the loop on how it’s going, what we’re working on, and what comes next. Sessions run 45–90 minutes depending on the athlete and the block’s focus, and training frequency is prescribed individually from the evaluation — never a one-size schedule.
